Workmen's Compensation Insurance protects employers against legal liability for injuries sustained by their employees during the course of employment. It covers medical expenses, disability benefits, and death benefits as required by the Workmen's Compensation Act.
Inclusions
- Accidental death
- Permanent total disability
- Partial disability
- Temporary disability
- Medical expense of accident
- Rest (Maximum upto Rs 2500 monthly).
Exclusions
- Non-fatal injuries.
- Injuries caused due to war, nuclear, or riot
- Accidents or injuries caused under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- All the injuries that do not cause partial disablement for more than 3 days.
- Injuries caused to the internal removal of the security device or due to the carelessness of the security device.
